Our Library

The library has over 9,600 books, 1100 dvd’s, and 25 different magazines.  We subscribe to 5 newspapers:  Des Moines Register, Fort Dodge Messenger, Humboldt, West Bend and Pocahontas.  We have 6 computers for patron use, 3 tablets, free wifi inside and outside for your use.       

Large screen tv & Wii for gaming, viewing movies, or just watching a tv show. We continue to have our big event, of  the Summer Reading Program every summer.  We have our weekly trip to GC-B Daycare for reading with the 3 year olds. The 4 year old’s come to our library one day of the month, in the winter and in the summer.  We have crafts often, reading challenges, games, movies for the young and old.  Santa at Christmas and a tree lighting.  We love our patrons and our children that come into the library. We are striving to make the library a place where everyone wants to come in and enjoy!
